The backbone of any marketing effort. Effective sales literature not only conveys important product or service information, it also identifies and cures the "pain" felt by your potential customer – the most critical (and most overlooked) function of sales literature.
Some clients say "we don't really use sales literature, we just have data sheets". What they fail to see is that a lowly data sheet is also "sales literature". It tells the potential customer something not only about your product but about your company as well. Is the sheet concise and informative? Is it attractive? Does it look up-to-date or like a throwback from twenty years ago? Is it well-printed or just a muddy photocopy? Everything a company prints is "sales literature".
